Parents Of Autistic Children Find Training Videos Helpful
By Carl Rius on Feb 02, 2010
Most autistic children have problems with moving the right way but thanks to instructional DVD’s parents found that their autistic children could move a lot more effectively then ever before which is a major break through with some of the parents.
George Singer, Robert Koegel, Nicolette Nefdt, and Michael Gerber conducted this study at the University of california in Santa Barbara. The journal of Positive behavior interventions issued its appearance on January 2010. Nefdt feels that parents have minimal support when it comes to intervention and they needed to implement evidence that would help them out. They feel that this also opens up new doors for people.
Parents are now provided with step by step instructions plus video examples. These videos help with showing how to communicate to their children and teach them. There is ease and flexibility with this program and the parents are able to understand everything plus they can enjoy being able to work with their child when before they could not. Parents who watched these videos and applied the steps did say that it made a difference and they understood everything that the videos told them. The parents are excited as to what all can happen now and hope that more do this.
