Stock Market News: Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL), Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG), Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC)

Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) – Some people are starting to believe that Apple Inc (NASDSAQ:AAPL) has become too greedy and is becoming the ‘evil’ company that Microsoft once was.

Previously Apple spent its efforts persuading and convincing that its products were ahead of the competition and starting with the iPod they succesfully managed to achieve that. Now they don’t just want you to think their products is the best, but want to make you prisoner in their ecosystem and trust that also their ideas, rules, and everything they say is the best for you. They want you to give them the power to make all choices for you, while you just sit back and enjoy what ought to be the best experience for you.

Apple (AAPL) shares currently stand at 248.34 (a 1.6% drop from the previous day).

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) – Google released its plans for the future recently at their Google I/O developers conference, and the search giant sees a future where the traditional internet browsing will not cease to exist, but will just evolve and be more technologically advanced.

Google pitched its web-centric future at the Google I/O Developer’s conference this week, and the search giant believes that the internet is the only real technology controlled by all of us – and for that reason, it must live on.

Google Inc (GOOG) shares currently are valued at 494.43.

Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC) – Intel is in the news recently over its decision to loosen regulations related to the screen sizes on its netbooks.

Netbooks that are powered by processors in the Atom N series have been restricted to screen sizes no larger than 10.2″. This is the reason so far that we haven’t seen large netbooks, and the notebook market hasn’t been cannibalized. However upcoming ARM-based smartbooks with larger screens and a slow down in the netbook market will see Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) loosen their regulations and allow for large screen sizes in their Atom based netbooks.

The Intel (INTC) stock price is currently 21.6.

That covers the day’s news concerning some of the biggest tech stocks trading on NASDAQ: Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL), Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG), and Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC).

    good snippet, thanks!

Apple: “They want you to give them the power to make all choices for you, while you just sit back and enjoy what ought to be the best experience for you.”

I’d say that this “power to make choices” is design, in contrast to other products created (not designed) by bunch of amateurs which need a tick manual nearby so people learn how to use them.

I use a PC daily at work and I only recently bought an iMac and iPod for personal use. Also, I’ve tried for a while an iPhone and iPad from a friend. I don’t care much which company makes a product, but I’m amazed by the complexity of the products around us, the degree one almost needs to have to be able to choose a product with stuff that 1 out 1000000… people needs.

Apple makes tough decisions on their products, but if more companies would have the guts to make such bold decisions we’d have must better products and probably less junk sitting around, being used a few months and then replaced.

I’m not saying that everything is perfect with Apple, but there is a choice of buying an Apple product or not, so I don’t understand the comments stating that Apple makes decisions for the consumers. That’s design!!! People are free to choose which product suits them. I’d rather pay for a company which puts efforts in designing a product, not for a company that gives me a cheaper product that I cannot use and lasts only a short while. I’ve heard that some people had duration problems with Apple products, but this is another discussion that should address the way they used the product.
