Cameron Dicker delivered one of the biggest performances of his career Sunday, nailing five field goals, including a go-ahead 54-yarder, to lift the Los Angeles Chargers to a gritty 22–19 overtime win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The night ended on a dramatic note when Tony Jefferson intercepted Jalen Hurts at the 1-yard line, sealing the victory in what turned into a turnover-filled mess for both teams.

The Chargers improved to 9–4, managing to steady themselves even after Odafe Oweh jumped offside on 4th and 4, gifting the Eagles a first down late in the game. On the next snap, Hurts took a deep shot to Jahan Dotson in double coverage, but Jefferson stayed in bounds as he grabbed the game-ending pick.

It was a nightmare outing for Hurts and the slumping Eagles, now 8–5 after suffering their third straight loss. Hurts threw four interceptions, and Philadelphia committed five turnovers overall, a stunning collapse for the defending Super Bowl champions, according to the Ap News.

Dicker’s steady leg kept the Chargers alive throughout the game. His 46-yard field goal with 12 seconds left forced overtime at 19–19, answering Jake Elliott’s 44-yarder minutes earlier. Dicker finished a perfect 5-for-5, while Elliott hit four himself, including kicks from 41, 30, and 54 yards, in front of a SoFi Stadium crowd speckled with Eagles green.

The Eagles briefly surged ahead early in the fourth quarter when Saquon Barkley broke loose for a 52-yard touchdown, giving Philadelphia a 16–13 lead. It was one of Barkley’s best outings of the season. After being held to a combined 78 rushing yards in losses to the Cowboys and Bears, he erupted for 122 yards on 20 carries, just his second 100-plus game of the year.

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert battled through the night with a surgically repaired non-throwing hand, completing 12 of 26 passes for 138 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also made an impact on the ground, running for 66 yards on 10 carries. Hurts, meanwhile, went 21 of 40 for 240 yards but couldn’t overcome his turnover issues.

His rough night began early, with two turnovers occurring on the same play a chaotic sequence where Da’Shawn Hand intercepted him, fumbled, Hurts recovered, and then fumbled again, with Troy Dye ultimately securing possession for the Chargers.

The Chargers tied the score at 16–16 on Dicker’s 31-yarder with 7:26 left in regulation, setting the stage for the overtime drama.
