Grammy-winning singer Coco Jones and Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell are officially married after exchanging vows in an intimate ceremony attended by family, close friends and prominent figures from music and basketball.
The couple tied the knot on Saturday, August 1, in Greenwich, Connecticut. Although Jones and Mitchell initially kept photographs from the ceremony private, guests shared several behind-the-scenes videos from the reception on social media, giving fans a glimpse of the celebration.
NBA players Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson and Bam Adebayo were among those in attendance. Singer Ciara and her husband, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson, also joined the couple for their wedding day.
Footage posted online showed the newlyweds sharing their first dance to Musiq Soulchild’s song Love. Jones wrapped her arms around Mitchell before the pair kissed on an all-white dance floor as friends and relatives watched.

Ciara later celebrated the marriage in a message posted to her Instagram Stories, writing, “The power of love is so beautiful. Congratulations [Mitchell and Jones]. We are so happy for you guys.”
Jones wore a floor-length white gown featuring a crystal-embellished corset bodice with straps. She later changed into a shorter white dress for the second part of the reception. Mitchell coordinated with his bride in an all-white tuxedo, completing his outfit with custom Adidas trainers displaying the couple’s wedding date in gold.
The reception featured floral arrangements with soft pink and ivory details, candlelit tables and a circular bar inside a large wedding tent. Videos from the event also showed guests gathering on the dance floor as the celebrations continued.
Jones and Mitchell first met at a Fourth of July party in 2023. They began dating the following year but largely kept their relationship away from public attention. Jones eventually confirmed their romance during a 2025 appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast.

The pair announced their engagement in July 2025, sharing photographs and a video of Mitchell’s proposal on Instagram. The announcement came after Jones completed a sold-out tour and Mitchell finished his basketball season, allowing the couple to spend time together on holiday.
Jones later described the engagement as an emotional and powerful moment. She also spoke about the importance of having a partner who understood the demands of a high-profile career, saying Mitchell consistently supported her work and ambitions.
Their wedding brought together the couple’s personal and professional circles while maintaining the intimate atmosphere Jones had previously said she wanted. With official photographs still under wraps, the reception videos offered the first public look at the newlyweds celebrating with those closest to them.
