Authorities in Colorado are searching for 20-year-old Kaylee Russell, who disappeared on Nov. 30 and was last seen near a park-n-ride lot east of Loveland. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has issued an endangered missing alert, saying law enforcement is “concerned about her safety.”
Russell was last spotted around 6 p.m. near the Loveland/Johnstown Park-N-Ride, a commuter lot located close to Highway 402 and Interstate 25. Investigators have not released details about what she was doing in the area, but the location was confirmed in the statewide alert sent out Tuesday.
According to the authorities, Russell is a Caucasian lady who stands at a height of over 5 feet 6 inches and weighs approximately 125 pounds. Specifically, she has brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, tan leggings, and brown slippers. Her last known whereabouts were in the United States. Officials said that there were no immediate indicators that may explain why she disappeared, which is one of the reasons why the warning was issued.
The CBI also listed a vehicle that may be connected to the case, although it is not clear whether it belongs to Russell. The car is a black 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan with the license plate 788-0903. It has a GreeleyNissan.com sticker on the rear window. Investigators have not confirmed whether Russell was seen getting into the vehicle, only that it is associated with the disappearance and may help generate leads.
Law enforcement agencies across northern Colorado are now reportedly working together to track down any sightings or information that could help locate her. Officials are urging the public to remain alert and report anything that may assist the search.”
