Greater Manchester Police have issued fresh CCTV images as part of an urgent appeal to help locate a missing teenage girl, as concern continues to grow for her welfare. The force confirmed that officers are intensifying efforts to find Lily, who was last seen several days ago. Investigators say the newly released images show the teenager around the time she went missing and are being shared in the hope that members of the public may recognise her or have information about where she could be now.

Lily is described as a white female, approximately 5ft 5ins tall, with long, straight hair that is either purple or red in colour. When she was last seen, she was wearing black pants featuring a pattern and piping down the legs, a black top, and a short black winter coat with a hood.

Police say Lily was last seen in the Gatley area of Stockport. However, officers have stressed that she has links to multiple areas across Greater Manchester, including Manchester City Centre, Salford and Trafford, and may have travelled between these locations, as per reports in The Sun.

In a public appeal, Greater Manchester Police said: “Have you seen Lily from Stockport? “She was last seen in Gatley and also has links to Manchester City Centre, Salford and Trafford.”

Officers say Lily’s disappearance is causing increasing concern, particularly as time passes without confirmed sightings. While police have not released details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, they have made clear that ensuring her safety is their top priority.

GMP added: “Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about her and want to make sure she is safe and well.” The release of updated CCTV images marks a significant step in the investigation. Police often turn to renewed public appeals when initial inquiries have not led to clear results, hoping that someone may recognise clothing, physical features, or remember seeing the missing person in a public place.

Missing person cases involving young people are treated as high priority, and officers typically carry out a range of checks, including reviewing CCTV footage, speaking with family and friends, and exploring known locations the person may frequent. Police have not indicated that there is any confirmed evidence of criminal activity in Lily’s case, but have emphasised the need to locate her as soon as possible.

Members of the public are being urged to remain vigilant and to report any information, no matter how small it may seem. Even brief sightings or partial details could help officers piece together Lily’s movements and narrow down where she might be.

Greater Manchester Police are asking anyone who believes they have seen Lily, or who has information about her whereabouts, to contact them immediately. “Anyone with information about Lily’s whereabouts should contact police on 101 or report online via the GMP website referencing log number 233 of 17.12.2025,” the force said.

Police have also encouraged people to share the appeal responsibly, noting that increased visibility can be crucial in missing person cases. However, they have reminded the public to avoid speculation and to direct information straight to authorities rather than posting unverified claims online.

As the search continues, officers say their focus remains on locating Lily and ensuring she is safe and supported. Anyone who may have information is urged not to delay in coming forward, as even a single lead could make a vital difference.
